Assalamualaikum (peace be with you)
Hira project started in 1998 with a handful of brothers and sisters meeting in various places, community centres and individual homes to study the Holy Quran.
In 1999 we started to have Jumah at Feltham Assembly Hall for Friday prayers and religious festival celebrations for example Ramadan and Eid. As the spirit increased in us to share Al-Islam with others, we began to look for a permanent place to worship.
In 2009, al hamdu lillah we managed to acquire a permanent location in Feltham to house all our activities. Through the years, it has grown into a full-service community center and Masjid catering to the religious needs of Muslims of Feltham and surrounding areas. We offer five time prayers with congregation, Quran classes including but not limited to hifz program. We also provide other community services, including monthly talks, Nikah services, family counseling and funeral services to Muslims of Feltham and surrounding areas.
Due to the important size of worshipers Friday prayers are still being held at Feltham Assembly Hall every Friday. Our Outreach efforts include visit a mosque day, and interfaith dialogue to promote collaboration with the rest of the faith communities in this area. HMCC and its members remain committed to serving our Community with above services and more.
